Let 10 years pass from now and randomly bump into you at the same local Starbucks, the one we use to always come together. You’re in line, I over hear you ordering an Upside-down caramel macchiato. In a casual Express dress with blue high heels, you still look attractive as years before. Get your drink and take a sit down, typing away on your laptop. I sit a distance from you- writing in my notebook for my daily events for the next weeks or so. I catch you gazing at me from the corner of my eyes. I smile to that, we began looking at each other every minute or two. I get up and break the pattern, walking towards you scanning your gorgeous face. I had it blueprinted in my mind how I was going to approach you, a stranger. I can see those lips curve upward as I come closer. “Hi, I’m David” I smile in return, pull out my hand, and readily for you to shake it. Those eyes, those beautiful brown eyes. We began speaking about our majors to our most embarrassing moments. Ranging from silly to deep conversations, I felt like I could tell you everything. Our conversation, it went so natural. You’re laugh, it was adorable but I kept it to myself. You’re still the same girl, more mature, more educated, more style and especially more sexier. As you talk about your past, my mind race of thoughts and questions “Who is this girl?” “She’s so gorgeous; how come I never seen her before” “Those eyes”.. We didn’t realize that we knew each other from years ago, from our teenage years. Seconds turns to minutes, and minutes turn to hours. The street light just started to lit up. You told me you had to get to class early next morning, and we exchange phones, exchanging numbers. I had my eyes set on you until you walk out those doors. I walk back to my table and pick up my notebook, and smiled. This is how I want to meet you again.
